As a School Counselor I strive to help children……
 
  • Develop good and effective problem solving skills to help them resolve conflicts and make good decisions and choices.
  • Develop a good sense of self-awareness that promotes a healthy self-esteem.
  • Develop effective relational and communication skills that will help them establish and maintain friendships and successful relationships.
  • Develop understanding of respect for others, and appreciation for differences and diversity within the Fairbanks community.
As a School Counselor I..
  • Work with individuals and small groups
  • Meet with parents
  • Collaborate with teachers and other agencies
  • Develop Student Programs
  • Conduct classroom guidance as needed in the school year

Anyone can make a referral to see me.  I can be contacted through a teacher, office staff or by calling me on 916 566-3435 or e-mail me.  You can also come to my office. Parent meetings are held on the first Friday of every month so I do hope to see many parents at our meeting in efforts to creating a safe, fun and improving environment for our students. Mark your calendars and I am looking forward to seeing you.
