Please note the following important meal service pick-up schedule change due to excessive heat, ongoing wildfires and unhealthy air quality conditions:
Effective August 20, the meal pick-up time will now be 6:45 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Mondays through Fridays until conditions improve. We realize this is short notice and for August 20 only, meals will also be made available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (by car)
Meals should be picked up at a child’s school of enrollment or a Twin Rivers school. If a family has multiple TRUSD students, meals may be picked up from the school where the majority of the students attend.
Proof of enrollment at a TRUSD school will be required.
Meals will be pre-packaged, cold meals to be consumed at home.
Curbside meal service will continue as long as Full Distance Learning is in effect.
Students do not need to be present for families to pick-up meals. However, families must provide proof of the child’s enrollment during the initial meal pick-up. You must provide the student's first and last name and student id number.
Due to federal requirements, meals will only be available to school-aged children, enrolled at a TRUSD school. No TRUSD student will be denied free meals. Children not enrolled in school will not be eligible for meals.
We kindly ask that families picking up meals follow curbside meal pick-up guidelines. Stay home if you are sick. Wear a face covering over your nose and mouth in order to protect others. Practice good hand washing hygiene. For families picking up by car, do not park or get out of your car to pick up meals. For families walking please remember to practice social distancing and line up 6 feet from the designated pick up spot. Remember to also wait 6 feet behind the person in line ahead of you.
